NewsPatrolling.com : Holi, the festival of colour is a spring festival celebrated in the Indian subcontinent, mostly among the Hindu communities. The festival signifies the victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring, end of winter, and for many a festive day to meet others, play and laugh, forget and forgive, and repair broken relationships. It is also celebrated as a thanksgiving for a good harvest. It lasts for a night and a day, starting on the evening of the Full Moon day falling in the Vikram Samvat Hindu Calendar in the month of Phalguna, which falls somewhere between the end of February and the middle of March. Holi celebrations start on the night before Holi with a Holika Dahan where people gather, perform religious rituals in front of the bonfire, and pray that their internal evil be destroyed the way Holika, the sister of the demon king Hiranyakashipu, was killed in the fire. The next morning is celebrated as Rangwali Holi – a free-for-all festival of colours, where people smear each other with colours and drench each other. Water guns and water-filled balloons are also used to play and colour each other. Anyone and everyone is fair game, friend or stranger, rich or poor, man or woman, children and elders. The frolic and fight with colours occurs in the open streets, open parks, outside temples and buildings. Groups carry drums and other musical instruments, go from place to place, sing and dance. People visit family, friends and foes to throw coloured powders on each other, laugh and gossip, then share Holi delicacies, food and drinks. 
This year on the eve of Holi, the Shiv Valet & Cab Services organizing one of the the most talkative event in the town, EK SHAAM HOLI KE NAAM, on 26 February 2018. The programme will start at 4 pm and will continue till 10 pm in the night at the Dhyan Chand National Stadium, India Gate, New Delhi. The entry for the programme will be from the Gate No. 4 of the stadium.
The programme will felicitate veteran actress and Member of the Parliament of Lok Sabha Smt. Hema Malini (TBC) and popular Bhojpuri actor-singer and also the Lok Sabha MP Shri Manoj Tiwari (TBC). Performers like Vicky Kajla, Rajesh Pandey and Sapna Choudhary will be the attraction of the celebration.

The main attraction of this year’s EK SHAAM HOLI KE NAAM programme is most popular Haryanvi Singer and dancer Sapna Choudhary. As you must be aware that Sapna is famous for to lit the fire on stage through her heart winning performance on stage. Sapna Chowdhary has a huge fan following not only in the capital region Delhi or Haryana, but also she is extremely popular in Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. The singer dance entered the popular Television shows Big Boss 11.
