MOTHER DAIRY CELEBRATES THE SPIRIT OF “UNSUNG MOTHERS”, RELEASES A VIDEO AHEAD OF MOTHER’S DAY

Celebrating the spirit of International Mother’s Day, Mother Dairy today released a celebratory video to honor the spirit of unsung mothers. These inspiring women, who may not even be a part of the family, play a major role in nurturing the child be at home or outside. These ‘mother like figures’ are the pillars for every mother as they are the support system that enables the mother to carry out her multiple tasks with confidence and peace.
Speaking about the initiative, a Company Spokesperson from Mother Dairy Fruit & Vegetable Pvt. Ltd., said, “Nurturing a child is a great responsibility and is an emotional journey. We may not even recall many-a-times who all have helped us to grow where we are today! Through this unique video we have tried to showcase the unwavering and unconditional love each mother like figure carries in her heart. These celebratory video is an ode to the chain of women, who play an equally important role in nurturing the child.”

The video opens with a shot of a mother waking up her daughter. In the next shot, the grandmother is pampering the child to wake up and then coddling her with Mother Dairy cheese and parantha, making her a delightful breakfast as she prepares to leave for school. The mother and daughter leave home for their respective destinations to office and school. The little girl comes back from school and is greeted by the housekeeper at home where she gently listens the little girl’s heart and offers her some Mother Dairy cheese slice to keep her in content. Later while playing at home, the elder sister is seen helping the little one with homework and reminds her about the football class and make their way to the football ground. In the next shot, the little girl hurts herself during a practice session and is attended by her coach immediately, who further comforts and encourages her to take control of the situation. The final shot brings all the women together – Mother, Grandmother, Housekeeper, Sister and the Coach cheering for the little girl when she hits a goal at the ground. The final frame also airs the voice over saying, ‘because one mother cannot be everywhere, she needs many helping hands; on this Mother’ Day, we celebrate them all.’

Hindus welcome naming crater on Pluto’s largest moon Charon after Revati

Hindus have welcomed the naming of a crater on Charon, Pluto’s largest and far-flung moon, after Revati, which finds mention in ancient Hindu texts.

In Hinduism, Revati is wife of Balabhadrarama, elder brother of Lord Krishna; and is also one of the 27 stars mentioned in Mahabharata.

The International Astronomical Union (IAU), the internationally recognized authority for naming celestial bodies and their surface features, recently approved the name of Revati Crater on Charon (one of the larger bodies in the Kuiper Belt with a wealth of geological features), which was proposed by NASA's New Horizons team.

Distinguished Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, in a statement in Nevada today, calling it a step in the positive direction, urged IAU to explore the richness of thought offered by Sanskrit texts of Hinduism and name more celestial bodies after names and concepts found in ancient Hindu texts.

Rajan Zed, who is President of Universal Society of Hinduism, further said that that Sanskrit, which was known as “the language of the gods”, provided the theoretical foundation of ancient sciences. According to tradition, self-born God created Sanskrit, which was everlasting and divine, Zed added.

Founded in 1919 and headquartered in Paris, the IAU is the world's largest professional body for astronomers. Dr. Silvia Torres-Peimbert and Dr. Piero Benvenuti are President and General Secretary respectively.

NewsPatrolling.com :  The inflection point e-commerce is going through today, largely driven by an increasing number of mobile (smartphone) shoppers, it is imperative that e-commerce platforms are able to keep pace with technology shifts, especially related to apps and services.  To stay competitive, e-commerce companies should deploy robust mobile app testing platforms, says pCloudy.com in a white paper released recently.

Recent data from Comscore illustrates that sales from mobile devices are now leading the charge with an annual growth rate of 59% that eclipsed desktop at 17%. DigitalOcean Introduces Kubernetes Product for Simple, Scalable Container Deployment and Orchestration

NewsPatrolling.com (Media partnered with Newzopedia.com niryas.com webeesocial.com ayushmaanbhavah.com : DigitalOcean , the cloud platform for developers and their teams, today announced its DigitalOcean Kubernetes product, the easiest way to run containerized applications in the cloud. Designed for developers and businesses who want a simple way to deploy and manage container workloads, DigitalOcean Kubernetes removes the headache involved in setting up, managing and securing Kubernetes clusters while incorporating DigitalOcean’s trademark simplicity and ease of use.

“Over the last year, Kubernetes has emerged as the container orchestration platform of choice, and as one of the leading public clouds, investing in supporting our customers’ adoption of containers was a natural evolution to our roadmap,” said DigitalOcean VP of Product, Shiven Ramji. “We’ve always been devoted to providing simple solutions for developers — starting with our cloud servers, Droplets. This product is no exception, allowing developers to focus on successfully shipping their applications while not being burdened by the complexity involved with creating and running a highly scalable and secure cluster across multiple apps.”

The application container market is estimated to grow to $2.7B by 2020, according to 451Research. Further, developers and those in DevOps are growing more committed to Kubernetes: in 2016, just under half said they were committed to the system but by 2017, 77 percent said the same, according to the Cloud Native Computing Foundation. Despite Kubernetes’ growing popularity, on its own, it can be complex for developers to manage.

Prabhakar Jayakumar, Country Director, DigitalOcean India said, "Today many Indian companies are adopting containers to improve infrastructure performance, reduce develop-deploy cycles and lower costs. By focusing on Kubernetes (the most popular container management system in the market today) for our first container offering, DigitalOcean will allow developers to concentrate on building impactful applications, allowing product to do the heavy-lifting around managing their container workloads"

By offering Kubernetes integrated with DigitalOcean’s core product suite — which includes Compute Servers, Block Storage, Object Storage, Firewalls, Load Balancers and more — businesses will have the freedom to run their existing workloads on DigitalOcean without special configuration. Key features and benefits of DigitalOcean Kubernetes include:
  • Dedicated Managed Kubernetes Cluster : Each customer receives their own cluster, which provides security and isolation for their containerized applications with access to the full Kubernetes API.
  • Integrated Storage Scalability : DigitalOcean products for block storage and object storage are built in, providing storage for any amount of data.
  • Included Security : Cloud Firewalls are included, making it easy to manage network traffic in and out of the Kubernetes cluster. Additionally, DigitalOcean will provide cluster security scanning capabilities to alert users of flaws and vulnerabilities.
  • Continuous Delivery : Simple integration with popular continuous integration services; developers can easily set up a full continuous delivery pipeline in two clicks, providing faster and more robust rollout of new application functionality.
  • Team Management: Kubernetes deployments can be a large team effort. DigitalOcean’s “teams” feature allows development teams to easily manage access and permissions to the cluster.
  • Extended Insights: In typical Kubernetes environments, metrics, logs and events can be lost if nodes are spun down. To help developers learn from the performance of past environments, the DigitalOcean Kubernetes product will store this information separate from the node indefinitely.
  • One-click Integrations: Similar to the existing one-click setups and integrations for Droplets, the product includes one-click integrations to deploy an entire application stack so developers can focus on solving their business problems and worry less about their Kubernetes cluster setup.
