Grapes Digital bags Digital Responsibility for Hudson Canola Oil

NewsPatrolling.com : In a recent announcement, Hudson Canola Oil has appointed Grapes Digital as its digital agency. The agency will handle the complete digital mandate. The account was won after a multi-agency pitch.
The agency will be involved in the digital media planning and buying, strategy, content creation and design across all social media platforms.
“We are excited to partner with Hudson Canola Oil, the brand that introduced canola oil to India and the one that has led development of the Canola Oil category in a market where it was unknown. We are delighted to work with a brand that understands the ‘digital first’ approach. We look forward to use our digital expertise to help the brand touch new heights,” said Himanshu Arya, Founder, Grapes Digital.

Speaking on this occasion, Akash Premsen, Senior Vice President at Dalmia Continental, said, "The Company’s core competency is blowing open categories that Indians did not know of or consider and creating leading brands. With Leonardo Olive Oil previously, India realized an entire new way of life. With Hudson, we have a product inherently linked to consumer behaviour and health in the Indian kitchen. We are confident of fast adoption because homes are ready for this revolution. We are targeting Rs 300 crores from Hudson in 5 years. We intend to expand our Hudson portfolio to focus on demographics that almost all oil companies ignore because they are in the commodity business, not in the consumer benefit business. Currently, the oil category is stodgy, old and stuck in the 1990s, with almost zero appeal to the millennial generation. Hudson speaks directly to the young, savvy, health-aware and global-minded consumer. Food is an art on Instagram, cooking is a passion on blogs and information about health is just a click away. In this landscape, how can an oil brand join the conversation? This objective is now in the capable hands of Grapes, who are tasked with highlighting Hudson's relevance in today's Indian kitchen, using the most innovative ways possible to help us increase brand awareness and drive business growth."

Nifty reclaims 10700, courtesy to Reliance and banking counters

NewsPatrolling.com“The day belongs to the optimistic traders as we witnessed a good global driven rally with some impetus provided on the domestic front. It started with a decent gap up opening and then a follow up momentum to reclaim the 10700 mark. Despite marginal profit booking at higher levels, the index managed to hold its position well inside the positive territory.

Now, the recent hurdle of 10640 has been crossed on a closing basis and thus, we may see extension of this move towards 10750 – 10800 in coming days. On the lower side, the immediate base seems to have shifted higher towards 10640 – 10600 (earlier hurdle becomes support) from 10495. Hence, going ahead, traders should trade with a stock specific positive bias and look to lighten up positions around 10750 – 10800. At this juncture, we are a bit unsure whether market has enough strength to surpass 10800 or not. Hence, one need to keep booking timely profits and should rather shift stop losses higher at 10640 – 10600.

Phillipines' fresh curbs to buoy Nickel

NewsPatrolling.com : Nickel prices could see a rebound as ore output is likely to suffer since top producer Philippines is planning to limit the amount of land that miners can develop at any one time to boost environmental rehabilitation. This move in the world's biggest nickel ore supplier will initially target the country's 30 nickel mines, which made up more than half of the country's 50 operating mines as of end-2017.

Earlier this month, Philippines' President Rodrigo Duterte threatened mining companies with open pit mining ban in 2019 if there is not enough reforestation. Canada’s largest Toronto School Board declares November “Hindu Heritage Month”

NewsPatrolling.com (Media partnered with Newzopedia.com niryas.com webeesocial.com ayushmaanbhavah.com Toronto District School Board (TDSB) in Canada has resolved that month of November each year be declared as Hindu Heritage Month.

TDSB Trustees, in their April 18 meeting, passed a motion which included: Hindu Heritage Month is an opportunity to celebrate and educate all our students and school communities about this ancient and spiritual way of life.

It also said: Canadians of Hindu faith have greatly contributed to civic life in Canada for decades, and are a vibrant part of the growth and prosperity of Toronto, Ontario and Canada.

The motion also stated: Hinduism (or Sanathana Dharma) encompasses a broad range of…contributions to learning through mathematics, astronomy and science, and well-being through health practices such as yoga, meditation and a vegetarian diet.

Distinguished Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, in a statement in Nevada today, commended TDSB for declaring November as Hindu Heritage Month and urged all school boards of Canada to do the same as Hindus had contributed significantly to the nation and society in Canada and continued to do so.

Zed, who is President of Universal Society of Hinduism, urged TDSB also to declare Diwali, most popular Hindu festival, as an official holiday in view of presence of substantial number of Hindu students in the District, as it was important to meet the religious and spiritual needs of Hindu pupils and show respect to their faith.

Rajan Zed noted that awareness about other religions thus created by such holidays like Diwali would make Toronto students well-nurtured, well-balanced, and enlightened citizens of tomorrow.

Hinduism is oldest and third largest religion of the world with about 1.1 billion adherents and moksh (liberation) is its ultimate goal.

TDSB serves approximately 246,000 students in nearly 600 schools, besides over 140,000 life-long learners. Over 120 languages are spoken by TDSB students and their families. Dr. John Malloy and Robin Pilkey are Director and Trustees Chair respectively.
