ARCH ACADEMY JEWELLERY DESIGN STUDENTS SHOWCASE CUITTING EDGE DESIGNS AND INNOVATIVE CONCEPTS AT THREE DAY ‘JEWELHOOD’ EXPO

Jaipur/ New Delhi  November 18, 2017  The Jewellery design students of Jaipur based Arch Academy of Design (AAD) showcased their cutting edge designs and innovative concepts at the Three day  exhibition titled ‘Jewelhood’ which concluded at the institute Saturday.

The students displayed their extensive range of eye-catching jewellery design  collections including traditional and conventional jewellery  under the mentorship of London based well known designer  Ms Anna Tuhus.

The students designed and developed innovations using various media including metal, wood, textiles, plastic and recycled waste material suited to Indian and global markets.

"With increasing exports from India to quality conscious international markets, the gem and jewellery industry needs new designs and global quality," said Ms Archana Surana Chairperson, Arch Academy of Design.(AAD)

"The  Arch Academy which runs under graduate programmes in jewellery design development  has the department  equipped with modern machines, test jigs and other equipment’s has been set up to train students to cater to the specific requirements of Indian gems and jewellery domestic and  export trade and develop products and designs as per international demand" said Ms Surana.

"AAD has been adding courses to meet the global market's futuristic expectations as per international standards. It is equipped with highly trained and capable staff" said M Surana

"With increasing exports from India to today's quality conscious international markets, the gems and jewellery industry needs new designs and global quality, AAD will not only help in developing jewellery for exporters but also bring new technology closer to the industry, which not only promises to produce a quality necessary for export markets, but also cut costs, giving the industry much needed competitive edge" said Ms Surana
